Who hasn’t come across a Siroko ad while scrolling on social media or browsing online? Personally, since I started cycling more seriously, I’ve always been drawn to their clean, colorful designs—and let’s be honest, those flashy promotions don’t hurt.
Siroko is a very visible Spanish brand, highly active online and often associated with attractive prices. But beyond the marketing, how do their cycling kits really perform on the road?
My first Siroko test in 2022
I first got to try Siroko gear in 2022, and honestly, I wasn’t disappointed. The kits held up well over time, the materials were solid for the price range, and the fit was spot on. No sloppy cuts, no cheap feel once on the bike.
A clearly positive first impression that made me want to give them another shot a few years later.
Siroko summer range: maximum lightness
In 2025, I decided to retest Siroko with their summer range, and this time, they stepped it up.
The kit is ultra-light, designed for hot weather, with an even cleaner design and a real sense of minimalist finesse.
The jersey is almost transparent it’s so thin, paired with a very simple light grey bib short—but it looks incredible once on.
The Siroko summer jersey
Right from the first try, it’s clear: the jersey fits perfectly and is extremely lightweight.
So lightweight that I sometimes hesitated to wear it for spring rides around 18°C. Out of all my jerseys, it’s without doubt the thinnest and lightest.
Too light for spring, but absolutely perfect for summer. I wore it on a climb up Mont Ventoux under 35°C, and I’m convinced this jersey saved me from overheating. Excellent breathability, top-notch heat management—a real gem for scorching rides.
The Siroko summer bib short
The bib was slightly big at first, but after a few rides, it fit my legs perfectly.
The padding is standard but effective for 2–3 hour rides. The elastic is comfortable, with no pinching or excessive compression.
For the price, this bib short is fully approved. Clear, simple, effective.
Siroko winter range: sleek and functional
A few months later, I also wanted to test the Siroko winter range..
Thermal long-sleeve jersey
The lined long-sleeve jersey is very comfortable and clearly designed to be thermal.
It could be a bit warmer on its own, but combined with a base layer and a jacket, it works very well for winter rides.
I chose a mustard yellow color, and once again, the design is spot on. Original without being too flashy, exactly my style.
Siroko winter bib short
Here, it’s a very classic setup: full black, understated, no frills.
The padding is thicker than the summer version, comfort is solid, and protection against the cold is clearly better than the jersey.
It doesn’t aim to reinvent the winter bib short, but it does its job perfectly—and sometimes, that’s all you ask for.
Durability and care
An important point to note: none of the kits showed any issues after washing and drying.
After at least five washes for each piece, the colors held up, the seams stayed intact, and the fabrics didn’t warp.
A definite plus in terms of longevity.
Verdict — is Siroko worth buying?
Honestly, Siroko now offers one of the best quality-to-price ratios on the market in an accessible range.
That said, be cautious with the promotions advertised on their website—they don’t always reflect the product’s true original price. Even without flashy discounts, you’re definitely getting good value for your money.
It may not be the most premium brand in the peloton, but for frequent riding, enjoying your gear, and staying budget-friendly, Siroko checks a lot of boxes.
