Lameda gear review: a great surprise in the world of cycling apparel

Over the past few months, I’ve had the chance to test quite a few pieces of Lameda gear on Kadenz Cycling.

I started with their summer kits, including several jerseys and bib shorts. After multiple rides and a lot of kilometers, the overall impression was good enough to go further. So I decided to also test their winter gear, to see if the brand could deliver all year round.

A design that stands out from traditional brands

The first thing that stood out to me with Lameda is clearly the design.

My opinion on quality

In real riding conditions, the bib shorts are comfortable and the jerseys stay well in place. The fabrics breathe well during summer rides and remain pleasant to wear for several hours.

If I had to compare with other accessible brands I’ve tested like Darevie or Rockbros, I’d say Lameda is generally one step above in terms of quality and finishing.
Prices can sometimes be slightly higher, but the overall value for money remains very strong.

My experience is actually quite close to what you can find in other reviews or user feedback.

Several reviewers mention that Lameda bib shorts offer excellent comfort for the price, with some even considering them among the best value for money on the market in this category.

After several months of testing, my opinion is quite simple.

Lameda is a very good surprise in the world of cycling apparel.

We’re looking at a brand that offers well-designed, comfortable products with interesting designs, all at a price that remains relatively accessible.

If you’re looking for high-performance cycling gear without paying premium brand prices, Lameda is definitely an option worth considering.

And on my side, based on the first tests, there’s a strong chance more gear from the brand will pass through my hands on Kadenz Cycling.
