iGPSPORT BiNavi: My Review After Several Months of Use

Since January, the iGPSPORT BiNavi hasn't left my handlebars. After several months and quite a few kilometers logged, here's my full review of this GPS computer that has clearly changed the game for iGPSPORT.

The flagship model from iGPSPORT

The BiNavi is THE premium model from the brand. It was designed to compete with the market's top references in navigation and route exploration, and you can feel it from the moment you pick it up: quality materials, clean finish, a real sense of sturdiness.

Its 3.5-inch touchscreen is genuinely generous in size and very readable, even in bright sunlight. It's a real comfort for reading a map or tracking your data during a ride. And for those who find this format too bulky, iGPSPORT now offers the BiNavi Air, a more compact and noticeably lighter version that keeps the same philosophy in a smaller format. Great news whether you love a big screen or prioritize lightness on the bike.

Top-tier connectivity

When it comes to sensors, I've never run into a compatibility issue. Power, heart rate, cadence, rear radar... the BiNavi pairs with pretty much everything on the market, across all brands. It's genuinely reassuring not to have to worry about compatibility when swapping or adding a sensor.

The real strength: customization

This is clearly what stands out the most for me day to day. The BiNavi lets you create as many data screens as you want, each configured exactly the way you like. Whether you prefer a minimalist setup with 3-4 well-chosen fields or a dense screen packed with everything at a glance, it's all possible. This total flexibility is really what sets this computer apart for me.

Navigation that has made huge progress

Navigation has improved significantly at iGPSPORT over the past few years, and the BiNavi proves it. The map is clear and pleasant to read, and the guidance does its job smoothly on my rides. A world away from the brand's earlier generations of computers.

One small downside, though: roundabout instructions aren't always perfectly clear. It's not a dealbreaker — you figure it out easily once you get used to it — but a bit more precision would be welcome here. Similarly, some advanced features still lack a bit of consistency from one use to the next, a sign the software is still evolving and not fully polished in every area.

The iGPSPORT app, which links the computer to your smartphone, also keeps improving with every version. Today, importing a route directly from Strava has become very simple, which really makes a difference when planning rides.

As always with iGPSPORT, the overall ecosystem (computer + app + in-house sensors) remains very cohesive and pleasant to use day to day.

A few details that make daily use more enjoyable

Beyond the major features, there's also a series of small details that make the experience genuinely pleasant:

Startup is very fast: the computer is ready to go within seconds, no need to wait to start your ride.

Music control is a small feature I particularly appreciate: from the computer, you can adjust the volume or skip to the next track, whether it's music or a podcast, without having to pull out your phone.

The box contents are generous: a protective case, screen protector glass, USB-C cable, safety strap, and quarter-turn mount are all included, so you don't need to buy extra accessories to get started right out of the box.

Battery life that goes the distance

Another strong point in my book: the battery. Battery life is genuinely good, and you don't need to recharge the computer after every ride. It's a real comfort day to day, especially for those who ride regularly or head out on long rides without having to worry about the battery level.

My overall verdict

For a computer that sells for under €250, it's hard to do much better. Depending on which features matter most to you, some competing models — from Coros, for example — might suit you slightly better for a few extra euros. But when you look at the big, established players in the market, the price gap with their equivalent high-end models can be substantial compared to the BiNavi.

In conclusion: for this budget, there are very few computers that perform this well as the iGPSPORT BiNavi.
